4. Feed your pets ice cubes. I know what you're probably thinking: why ice cubes, they have no nutritional value? Ice cubes can be extremely beneficial regarding a pet's health. Ice cubes help dogs, and especially puppies, develop their gums and teeth. The coldness of the ice cube relaxes the gums and strengthens the teeth. In addition, ice cubes are a great way to cool the dog down on a hot day. Ice cubes also prove to be an alternate approach to drinking water. Bigger ice cubes are better.
