About the Project

My project is called "The Lovers that Love Us." For this project, I am creating a pet food pantry within my church, St. Andrew United Methodist Church. I will receive donations from my church and local community, which will then go into the pet food pantry. Later, I will lead a team that will sort the pet food based on the size of the dog. This pet food will then be donated to non-profit organizations in the Denver Metro Area. These organizations are Interfaith Community Services, the Colorado AIDS Project, Denver Inner City Parish, and Denver Urban Ministries. For my project to be sustainable, the pet food donations will merge into St. Andrew's weekly food donations and its sack lunch program to deliver pet food directly to those in need. I desire to teach my community how to properly feed their pets and keep them healthy.
